Everyone in the art world  is up in arms about the latest Banksy “prank”.  But is it actually a prank?

Allegedly Banksy hid a shredder built into a frame of a painting recently sold at an auction.  So what is the value of that painting now?  Is the shredded painting a second painting?  Are the batteries really that old?

Clearly the auction house had to be in on it.  Wouldn’t they have every square inch of it inspected first?  Also, the painting doesn’t seem to line up with the “shredder”.  There are all kinds pf fun questions to be had still.  Isn’t that the point of this Banksy prank?  To have fun.
